RESEARCH INTERESTS

During my Ph.D., I have worked in the field of high power vacuum electron devices (especially on Gyro-Devices). Gyro-Devices are the fast wave counterparts of well known slow wave devices like klystrons, traveling wave tube amplifier.  These Gyro-Devices are widely used for plasma heating application in nuclear fusion reactors and they also find application as RF amplifiers in RADAR. I have now started to explore on other vacuum electron devices like backward wave oscillator which are used for various medicinal spectroscopy and commercial communication applications. Additionally, I am also keen on extending my research area in microwave antennas and passive circuits (especially filters) to support future communication systems.
