Shrestha Club is a forum to help students to channelize their energy & potential to become a ‘Shrestha’– ‘A Leader’ within the society.

AIM:

Our attempt is to empower the students with necessary skills and values that will make them a successful individual and a powerful contributor to the society and make India a World Leader!

Motivation:

India is a country that has half the population under the age of 25 and around two-thirds are under 35. India’s burgeoning youths are the world’s future.
Youth have the energy, potential, zeal, and courage which are often underutilized due to lack of quality guidance & education – not just related to IQ, but all the four quotients of life – Physical Quotient, Emotional Quotient, Intelligence Quotient, and Spiritual Quotient.
Due to this, We see a constant surge in the level of frustration & confusion within our youths.

MISSION:

Shrestha Club would be organizing seminars and workshops for developing Leadership and Personality skills. We attempt to educate the youths in tips & techniques that give them the edge in the cutthroat competition today. Necessary life skills will be imparted and cultivated through these seminars. Some of the seminars which the club would offer-

1. 7 Habits of Highly Effective People
2. Art of Managing Yourself
3. Discover Yourself
4. Mastering Mind Management
5. Concentration in the Age of Distraction

And many more relevant topics that would foster leadership skills. Shrestha Club focuses not just on skills but character also. It draws the life-essential principles and management techniques from wisdom literature like the Bhagavad Gita which bring about a powerful combination of competence and character within us.

CREDENTIALS:

Shrestha Club has a wide network of alumni of working professionals and students from premier institutes like IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, NIT Surathkal, NIT Trichy, etc.
Shrestha Club has been able to invite some of the top-notch professionals like Dr. Shekhar Shukla(IIM Lucknow, Tata Scholar), Mr. Abhishek Shanmukh(Broadcom, IIT Madras) for seminars in our college. And we plan to invite more such professionals to help us get practical guidance on becoming successful.
