NIT Andhra Pradesh Students Secure National Recognition at ABB Accelerator 2026 for their innovation and technical excellence by securing *Second Prize* at the prestigious *ABB Accelerator 2026* under *Theme 2: "Beyond Monitoring: AI Agents for Real-Time Pod Resource Discovery and Dependency Mapping."
The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) has announced its Prestigious IIM Awards 2025. The Department of MME, NIT Andhra Pradesh has secured Two Awards i.e., IIM-Students Prize 2025 (Rs. 5000/- Prize Money and Scroll of Honor) and Best Student Affiliate Chapter Award. Ms. Jayasmita K Pradhan (2021-2025) student and Dr. Raffi Mohammed, Faculty Incharge of IIM-NIT AP Student Affiliate Chapter will receive the awards in the 79th Annual Technical Meeting of the Indian Institute of Metals (IIM-ATM) at IIT Hyderabad from December 4th to 6th, 2025
Dr. Kuldeep Roy, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, has recently been appointed as an Early Career Editorial Board Member of the Chemical Engineering Journal (Elsevier; Q1; Impact Factor: 13.2)
